Background in signaling through stress activated protein kinases and their connection to apoptotic signaling.
Current projects includes: (I) analysis of cellular responses to radiation of different qualities and DNA damaging agents and the connection to apoptotic signaling (II) characterization of endocrine therapy resistance in breast cancer cells and patient material (III) Analysis of cellular responses of AML cells to Mylotarg.
Both standard techniques such as Flow cytometry, western blotting and immunofluorescence staining as well as advanced proteomic techniques (SELDI on BC material and phosphoproteomics on LC) are used.
