Main part of my project is the application of proteomics in the discovery of molecular biomarkers in thyroid cancer. Moreover, I am working on proving the clinical utility of a panel of genes - whose relation to certain thyroid tumors has been shown retrospectively on frozen thyroid tissue material - on Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA).
