Anders Nordström obtained his PhD at Umea Plant Science Centre were he used mass spectrometry to investigate the biosynthesis and regulation of plant hormones. He recently completed a two year postdoc at The Scripps Research Institute / Scripps Center for Mass Spectrometry were he developed surface based (DIOS) and LC-MS techniques for metabolomics and proteomics
