Prof. Lewensohn has a joint position with KI and Karolinska University hospital where he is senior consultant at department of oncology. He initiated KBC and is now the director of KBC. Prof Lewensohn has a scientific background in DNA repair apoptotic signaling in cancer as related to cancer therapy. He has 110 original scientific publications within the cancer field. He is member of the scientific board of several funding bodies e.g. the Swedish Cancer Society, The Stockholm Cancer Society and King Gustav V:s Jubilee fund. He is co-founder of the company Oncopeptides AB
