This project aims at understanding metabolic regulation of cellular apoptosis and finding metabolite diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for use in the clinic. We are using mass spectrometry both off line LC-DIOS-TOF and LC-ESI-MS, paired with the data extraction tool XCMS to perform metabolomics on patient tissue/plasma samples and cancer cell lines.
